Complete Floors Parquet Herringbone is designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrances that need classic pattern with the warmth of real oak. This engineered timber flooring uses prefinished engineered oak blocks designed for a traditional herringbone installation over a stable layered construction. The real timber surface gives every board its own grain and tonal variation, while the supporting construction provides the consistency needed for a professionally planned floor. Like any timber product, it should be installed to the current supplier instructions and protected from standing water and abrasive dirt.
The broken-zigzag pattern introduces movement without the strong central line of chevron. Lighter colours make herringbone easier to carry through larger areas, while darker oaks work well in contained rooms where the pattern can become more decorative. Real timber is expected to vary, and that natural movement is what gives the finished installation depth and character.

Each block is made with an oak lamella wear layer bonded to a strong Eucalyptus plywood core and reinforced with veneer backing. This layered construction helps support stability, while the 3mm oak veneer and UV cured Klumpp coating add durability for everyday living spaces.
Herringbone flooring needs careful set-out so the pattern lines up cleanly across the room. This range is designed to create a high-end parquet look, so professional installation is usually the best option if you want a neat, balanced and long-lasting finish.
