Choose Hickory Impression Homestead when the project involves country, heritage and relaxed family interiors that suit a more tactile timber floor. The engineered timber flooring uses 2100 x 178 x 12mm boards with a 2mm American hickory veneer, nine to eleven coats of UV lacquer and a hand-scraped matte surface. This construction allows the floor to retain the warmth and natural variation people buy real timber for, while offering a more predictable board format for modern homes. Final installation method, adhesive or underlay and room suitability should always follow the product-specific technical guide.
The hand-scraped texture works with hickory’s pronounced grain, knots and tonal changes rather than trying to make every board look the same. Pair lighter colours with linen, stone and soft painted joinery, or use richer browns alongside leather, dark cabinetry and traditional furniture.
