Genuine Oak 260/20 is designed for premium open-plan interiors where extra-wide, extra-thick oak boards can define the room. This engineered timber flooring uses 2200 x 260 x 20mm boards with a substantial 6mm European oak lamella and tongue-and-groove profile. The real timber surface gives every board its own grain and tonal variation, while the supporting construction provides the consistency needed for a professionally planned floor. Like any timber product, it should be installed to the current supplier instructions and protected from standing water and abrasive dirt.
The 260mm width and 2200mm length create a calmer floor with fewer board lines, while the thick oak surface gives each plank strong visual presence. Pale colours keep the scale elegant and airy; deeper stains make a deliberate statement in large living rooms and architectural renovations. Compare Genuine Oak 240/15 for a slightly narrower and slimmer wideboard. Before ordering the full floor, view several samples in the intended room at different times of day.
