This engineered timber flooring combines a 14mm engineered board and 3mm real timber veneer with FSC-certified timber, formaldehyde-free and VOC-free credentials, plus 20-year residential and 5-year commercial wear warranties. Its practical value comes from combining an authentic timber face with a format that arrives ready for installation, reducing the sanding and coating work associated with unfinished boards. Correct subfloor preparation, expansion allowance and ongoing moisture control remain important to the finished result.
Its Australian species selection gives the range natural knots, grain and tonal movement rather than a repeated printed pattern. Use the lighter Blackbutt option to brighten a room or choose Spotted Gum when the scheme needs stronger contrast and richer brown tones. Eclipse Australis Largo uses extra long and wide boards, giving it a larger, more open look than a traditional-width engineered timber board. This makes it a strong option for bigger rooms, open-plan living areas and commercial spaces where you want the floor to feel more expansive.
Colours include Blackbutt, Blackwood, Brushed Blackbutt, Brushed Spotted Gum and Spotted Gum. Blackbutt and Spotted Gum offer classic Australian timber appeal, Blackwood gives the range a richer tone, while the brushed options add extra surface texture and character.
The wire brushed texture gives each plank a more natural timber feel by adding subtle surface detail. It can help the floor look less flat and more authentic, especially in larger spaces where the wider board format makes the timber grain more visible.
