Coastline Herringbone is designed for feature rooms where a classic herringbone pattern needs to coordinate with adjoining straight boards. This engineered timber flooring uses 600 x 120 x 14.5mm European oak blocks with a durable UV-lacquer finish, sustainably sourced materials, a lifetime structural warranty and 20-year residential and 5-year commercial wear warranties. The real timber surface gives every board its own grain and tonal variation, while the supporting construction provides the consistency needed for a professionally planned floor. Like any timber product, it should be installed to the current supplier instructions and protected from standing water and abrasive dirt.
The palette follows the Coastline collection, so the pattern can remain understated in a pale natural oak or become more dramatic in a darker shade such as Black Rock. Use it across an entire room or reserve it for an entrance, dining area or study where the directional pattern can be appreciated. Compare Coastline for coordinating straight oak planks. Real timber is expected to vary, and that natural movement is what gives the finished installation depth and character.
Coastline Herringbone is a strong choice if you want the floor to feel like part of the design, not just a background surface. The herringbone pattern adds movement and detail, while the European Oak veneer keeps the look warm, natural and easy to style.
Colours include Black Rock, Coogee, Hervey Bay, Port Elliot, Portsea and Trinity. The range gives you a smaller, easier-to-compare palette across light coastal tones, warm natural oak styles and deeper feature colours.
Herringbone flooring creates more visual interest than a standard straight plank floor. The angled pattern can make living areas, dining rooms, bedrooms and entryways feel more designed and finished, especially when paired with a soft matte timber surface.
Coastline Herringbone uses a glue down installation method, which is common for parquet-style engineered timber floors. Because the pattern needs careful set-out and alignment, professional installation is usually the best choice if you want a clean, high-end finish.
